The Master's programme in Technical Management in Energy, Building and Environmental Engineering is designed for engineers and graduates of technical disciplines who are interested in acquiring additional qualifications - in particular business and management qualifications.

A special feature: We offer four semesters (full-time) and up to seven semesters (part-time). The Master's programme starts both in the summer and winter semesters.


Prerequisites

Prerequisites for admission to studies are:

completed bachelor's or diploma studies

You must have completed a bachelor's or diploma degree in a technical, engineering or predominantly engineering degree course in tenergy, building or environmental technology or related fields with an overall grade of at least "good" (2.5)

You must have a degree in a technical, engineering or predominantly engineering degree course in the field of energy, building or environmental technology or related fields

Proof of practical experience

You need proof of a practical activity of at least 12 weeks duration. This can originate from the practical phase of your Bachelor's degree or from a professional activity. The practical activity should have acquainted you with relevant technical tasks

Application for the summer semester

The proof of Bachelor's degree must be submitted by 28 February of each year


Study progress

The studies take four or seven semesters. The course contents are identical, but distributed differently: They have either three semesters or six semesters of lectures, and write their Master's thesis in the last semester.


With the awarded academic degree of Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) you have acquired the formal requirements for a doctoral procedure. The degree gives you access to the higher service.
