Which degree do I require for the Master's degree programme in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science?

You will require a subject-oriented undergraduate degree (Bachelor) with a programme length of at least six semesters and you must demonstrate that you have completed at least ten weeks of practical work (usually already completed during the practical stage of the undergraduate degree).

Do I require a certain average grade?

Yes, the overall grade must be good (2.5) or better. If you do not achieve this grade, a case-by-case assessment will take place.

Do restricted admissions apply (NC)?

There is no admission restriction. Each applicant who meets the entry requirements will be admitted.

How long will the part-time degree programme take (standard period of study)?

The degree programme is designed in such a way that each semester you will study half of the modules intended for a full-time programme. That means the normal length of the degree programme is six semesters and it culminates in the academic degree "Master of Science".

When do I actually study on campus?

In the case of full-time studies, lectures are divided over five days. For the part-time Master's degree programme; the modules to be taken are offered on two days of the week: for the winter semester, probably on Mondays and Tuesdays during the lecture period. When do examinations take place?

Which undergraduate degrees serve as a prerequisite?

For the Master's degree programme in Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Technology, Communications Engineering, Renewable Energies, etc. and comparable degree programmes in Business Management in Technology focusing on, e.g. Electrical Engineering (verification of the technical focus may be necessary). For the Master's degree programme in Computer Science: Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, etc. and comparable degree programmes in Business Management in Technology focusing on, e.g. Computer Science (verification of the technical focus may be necessary).
