DEUTSCH

The restriction on participation is intended to encourage students in the bachelor's degree programs who are behind in their studies after the first semesters to plan their individual course of study intensively once again. This is supported by intensive advising of the students during this process by the university professors of the study program.

Procedure of the advisory service

Unless you meet the admission requirements for lab classes, admission may be gained by attending an advising interview. Admission to a majority of lab classes is gained through a single advising interview. The following conditions must be met:

  • You will prepare an individual study plan in writing with an allocation of the outstanding modules to the subsequent study semesters.
  • On the basis of the individual study plan you will take part in a study advising meeting with a university lecturer of the study program.
  • The advising university lecturer does not decide on the participation in the modules of the higher semesters. This decision remains solely with the student.

If the above points are met, you will be admitted to the lab classes without any further conditions.

Notice:
In the bachelor's degree programs in Electrical Engineering, there are two individual safety-related regulations in addition to the joint regulations. In these two regulations, no admission takes place on the basis of an advisory interview.
