Young talents need intercultural skills as well as specialist knowledge.
We want to provide broad-based support if travel activities aren't possible for example in the case of a pandemic. Working together sustainably and continuously that is our mission.
For this the xRegions-Team organizes joint virtual project seminars or digital-based summer schools.
We would also like to share other digital teaching and learning formats with each other and even allow selective double degrees.
Further education | Lifelong learning at an international scale
In a global world, employers are looking for state of the art knowledge and qualification of their staff. Further education enables them to keep up with newest technologies and models from science.
To build up further education on an international level, we exploit our cooperation in regular degree programs and we continue our networking at the lifelong learning cycle. The focus is on the topics which are innovative and suitable on the international market.
Recruitment and promotion of talents | Systematic increase of the pool of applicants
Companies want to get to know talents for tomorrow as early as possible. Can companies significantly increase their international talents base through virtual internships? Can we design common formats for cross-company personnel development? Is there a need for web-based training courses or a joint offering in the sense of a young leadership program? How important are local contact offices such as international offices in selecting and preparing such formats? Many questions - we work together on solutions.
Promotion of startups and innovation | Universities as international landing platforms
In an increasingly global world, young companies are keeping an eye on international markets. Exciting (spin-off) companies are being created at our partner universities in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, USA and UK. xRegions wants to support the startup projects in internationalization. Experts from the partner universities will come together in Münster to continue working on this innovative network concept and to find out the full innovation potential of international and interregional cooperation.
