FH user ID

The FH ID is the basis for your identification at Münster University of Applied Sciences. It is the basis for your e-mail address, access code for the central DVZ computer pools, access code for administrative systems (e.g. myFH-Portal or ILIAS) as well as for access to the university-wide WLAN (eduroam). You can manage your UAS ID, your mail settings and personal IT services independently via the myFH portal.

myFH-Portal

The myFH portal is the central platform with all the important functions for organising your studies. This includes, for example, registering for exams, registering for courses, your transcripts and viewing your timetable. The semester ticket can also be downloaded from the myFH portal. You can also register for the canteen card and manage your email account here.

FH-Card

  • The FH-Card combines several functionalities. It serves as

    Visible ID - you clearly prove your student status and receive discounted admission to the theatre, cinema, swimming pool, ...
  • Cafeteria card - you pay for food and drinks in the cafeteria with your student ID.
  • Library card - You use your card to borrow and return media in the libraries of Münster University of Applied Sciences.
  • Copy card

Module manuals

The term module refers to a teaching unit. A module is made up of several courses on a sub-area and can extend over several semesters. The module handbook of your degree programme shows you which modules you will complete. Please note that we always try to keep the module handbooks up to date. It is therefore advisable to check from time to time that the version you are using is still current. You can always find the current module manuals on the ILIAS learning platform.

ILIAS learning platform

All important documents for your studies (module handbooks, examination regulations, lecture notes, etc.) can be found on the ILIAS learning platform. You can log in with your UAS ID. Help for using ILIAS (user manual, learning videos, etc.) and information on new tools can be found in the training area.

Library

In the Hüfferstiftung Departmental Library at Johann-Krane-Weg 23 (2nd floor) you will find the media of both the Departments of Health and Social Work. Information about contact persons, opening hours, services, self-study rooms, etc. as well as the possibility to do research can be found on the library's website.

Installation instructions for software offered by the university

At Münster University of Applied Sciences, a wide variety of software products are used by students and staff. Here you will find detailed instructions on how to install and operate these products on your computer. The IT support of the data processing centre will also be happy to help you if you need further assistance.

FINDUS Process Portal

In the FINDUS process portal, flow charts provide information about important organisational processes. Here you will find, for example, relevant information on the process flow of the practical phases in the later course of the degree programme. Required documents and forms as well as links to further websites are included in the flowcharts.

University sports

The services offered by the University Sports Department are also open to students and employees of Münster University of Applied Sciences. Here you will find sports from A-Z, from aerobics to football to Zumba. If you are interested in a course, we recommend registering directly at the beginning of the semester!
