Advisory Council of the Department of Health
To promote the exchange between theory and practice, the department is supported by an advisory council. The advisory council is composed of people from different health care institutions.
The departmental council decides on all matters concerning the department. These include the allocation of funds, hiring of lecturers, appointment lists, study regulations, etc. The departmental council meetings are chaired by the dean, who is elected by the departmental council every four years. He/she conducts the business and represents the department externally. The departmental council is made up of professors, staff and students.
Study Advisory Board
The departmental council shall form a study advisory board to advise the dean and the departmental council on matters relating to teaching and studies.
Equal Opportunities Officer
The equal opportunities officer of the department or her representative shall work towards the inclusion of aspects relevant to equal opportunities in the fulfilment of the department's tasks.
Confidential person for students
The confidant shall work to ensure that the special needs of students are taken into account and, in particular, that the legal provisions applicable in their favour are observed.
