The Administrative department promotes and coordinates the information security process and advises the Presidential Board. It bundles and monitors existing information security management system (ISMS) structures and expands them.
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for all information security matters within FH Münster. The main task of the CISO is to advise the Presidential Board, to initiate and review the implementation of security measures, to coordinate security-related projects and to initiate and coordinate awareness-raising and training measures. He/she works closely with and leads the IS management team.
The IT Security Officer (ITSO) supports and represents the Information Security Office from a technical perspective. He/she monitors IT security and potential threats to FH Münster and continuously develops the level of security. In the event of security incidents, he/she works closely with the FHMS-CERT and manages it.
