Focus: Individual development

Apprenticeships

Münster University of Applied Sciences is not only open to students, its also welcomes apprentices. In addition to typical administrative occupations, we also offer technical and IT apprenticeships. Within the dual system, we even provide IT apprenticeships and degree programmes in Computer Science under one roof!

Internships

Will you soon be leaving school and do not yet know what you want to do? Are you looking for a place to complete your school placement? Or are you required to complete an internship for your degree programme? Then why not come to us for an internship.

Individual qualifications

We take special care to promote our own employees. It is quite possible to start with an apprenticeship at the FH Münster and then later work in a leading administration or even management position.

Advanced training

We focus on the needs of the respective target groups or individuals and advise, plan and provide programs and seminars.

Integration programme

"Welcome" is the name of the 100-day integration programme for new employees of central services facilities at Münster University of Applied Sciences.

Coaching and Consulting

The university offers executives the opportunity to take advantage of the support of a professional coach as a solution- and goal-oriented accompaniment. An external moderator can also support team development processes.

Counselling in psychological crisis situations

To ensure our employees are able to find qualified assistance early on in stressful phases of life, Münster University of Applied Sciences offers a variety of counselling and advisory options in cooperation with external counselling and advisory centres.

Knowledge preservation

In the higher education sector, personnel changes are relatively frequent due to the special features of the science system. A systematic transfer of knowledge supports both the safeguarding of important empirical knowledge of departing staff and the induction of new staff. In order to support our departments in the systematic transfer of knowledge, we have developed a work aid. In addition, we offer transfer advice.

Leadership principles

The subject of "leadership" is taken very seriously in the central service facilities of Münster University of Applied Sciences. In 2018, for example, new leadership guidelines were developed together with the team leaders of the various units at a closed meeting of the "Leadership Round Table" - consisting of the leaders of the Central Service Facilities (ZSE) and the Chancellor.

Annual development talks

Annual development talks are an important instrument of personnel development. Topics are, for example, cooperation or the identification of development opportunities for employees.
