Will you soon be leaving school and do not yet know what you want to do? Are you looking for a place to complete your school placement? Or are you required to complete an internship for your degree programme? Then why not join us for an internship.
FH Münster is not only open to students, its also welcomes apprentices. In addition to typical administrative occupations, we also offer technical and IT apprenticeships.
By cooperating in doctoral examination procedures, FH Münster provides assistance to qualified young scholars seeking to complete a PhD. The Doctoral Studies Programme helps PhD students to connect the academic performance required for a PhD to strategic research approaches within and outside the university.
Qualification positions for young scholars
FH Münster promotes the temporary establishment of qualification positions for young scholars at the university. In 2015, up to eight positions (75 per cent positions) were allocated to the requesting departments and central scientific units for an initial period of two years.
We systematically prepare highly qualified early career researchers who do not yet meet all the prerequisites for a professorship (five years' professional experience, three of which outside the university) for professorships. In 2015, the university fostered the creation of up to eight assistant professorships specifically for women.
Continuing education and postgraduate study
Alongside research and teaching, continuing education is one of the university's core tasks. FH Münster offers a wide range of continuing education and postgraduate programmes for all those interested.
We offer you a wide range of tasks in a modern, high-performance and customer-oriented HEI. With a student population of over 12,000 and more than 1,000 employees, our HEI is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the country.
Family and careers
One of our university's key aims is take account of the special needs of students and employees who care for children or other family members requiring care. The aim is to make it easier for them to combine studying and working with family responsibilities. The FH Family Service was established for this very reason.
The Career Service assists students and graduates until they land their first job. With our events and counselling services, we'll prepare you to enter the job market.
