Our study program "International Engineering

How do you program a robot? Why do wind turbines have three blades? How exactly do you design a part for a car? And what do you have to consider when working in an international environment?

These things - and many more - are taught to the students in the "International Engineering" program with integrated study abroad, internship and double degree. Graduates are highly qualified for various engineering disciplines in an international environment.

Since internationality is not easy to learn, our students have the opportunity to live it. They spend a total of one and a half years at one of our partner universities during their studies. After all, for a career in the field of international engineering, you do not only need engineering expertise but also a great understanding of international competencies.

Goals

In the field of international engineering, you need intercultural competencies and language skills in addition to the appropriate know-how. Our degree program combines both with the aim of ensuring that the world is open to you after graduation.

Professional fields

Following your studies, you will work in an international environment in the field of engineering. For instance, you will work in a company at the interface between two countries and support them with your engineering knowledge. In addition, you will have paved the way for a subsequent master's degree.

Contents and course of studies

Basic studies

You will spend the first four semesters at FH Münster University of Applied Sciences. Your studies include a language course in the third and fourth semester. In addition, you will get to know the culture of the country of the partner university within voluntary events.

Studies abroad

You will study the last three semesters at the partner university in the national language. In addition, a practical part abroad is included in your studies, whereupon you also write your final thesis abroad. After successful completion, you will receive the B.Sc. or B.Eng. degree of FH Münster University of Applied Sciences and the degree of the partner university.
