Cultural differences, time difference and language barriers - many things can lead to misunderstandings and thus to difficulties. In order to interact successfully internationally, strong intercultural skills are required. Internationality, however, is not easy to learn. That is why we connect you to colleagues from Colombia, Chile and Germany. You can experience first-hand in which ways different cultures and associated ways of thinking and acting can have effects on your work. In this way you gain a high level of intercultural competence, an important success factor in addition to your professional expertise. And along the way, you will also get to know your colleagues from the partner universities.
Details about the workshop
In this workshop, employees from FH Münster, UPB in Colombia and USACH in Chile will take part in equal shares. The workshop will be held in English. 6 persons from each university can participate. If there are more than 6 registrations, the order of registration applies.
The training session takes place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (German time). That is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Chilean time and from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Colombian time. The training takes place online, so you can also participate from home office. The following content will be covered:
- Raising awareness of the influence of culture and cultural differences
- Intercultural communication
- Intercultural virtual project teams

The next Intercultural Training will take place on July 20th, 2022 at the following times:
- Chile: 8am - 12pm
- Colombia: 7am - 11am
- Germany: 2pm - 6pm
