DEUTSCH

Description

In the course of increasing migration movements, the importance of intercultural competence acquisition is increasingly coming to the fore. It is therefore all the more important to open up non-verbal communication spaces in order to reduce the power gab expressed via the spoken language.

The project will first introduce "European" and "non-European" dance / movement cultures in order to design and present a cross-cultural dance choreography (Public performance only on request.).

The participants develop different dance / movement cultures in their theoretical foundation as well as practical implementation by developing a cross-cultural dance choreography. In addition to dance skills, intercultural competences and integration work will be practiced.

The summer school will start on August 1st, 2021 with the reception of the participants.
During the summer school there will be a theoretical part in the morning on topics such as
  • cultural terms
  • intercultural skills
  • Indian dance
  • Typical German!?

Afterwards there will be a practical part.

In the evenings we will visit social pedagogical institutes or cultural events will take place.
On Saturday, August 7th, 2021 we will on a daytrip to Cologne.
The last day of the summer school will be August 12th, 2021.
