The scholarships are awarded in accordance with the guidelines of the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst / DAAD), funded by the Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt / AA).
International students enrolled at FH Münster University of Applied Sciences (minimum 3rd semester) who do not receive any other kind of scholarship and who are experiencing financial hardship through no fault of their own can arrange an appointment for consultation. Due to the pancemic, the meetings take place virtually or on the phone.
The International Office of FH Münster, in collaboration with "Katholische Studierenden- und Hochschulgemeinde" KSHG) and "Evangelische Studierendengemeinde"(ESG), decides which applicants shall be granted a scholarship and the amount to be awarded. Whether aid can be granted and the scholarship amount depend on how much funding is available. In any case, these scholarships are of a short-term, one-off nature.
