In addition to many restaurants and bars, Münster also has numerous theatres, cinemas and museums, including the Picasso Museum, Mühlenhof Open-Air Museum and the LWL-Museum of Natural History with its Planetarium. A local recreation area around the Aasee is ideal for jogging, boating and walking.
Embedded in Münsterland park landscape, the tranquil district town of Steinfurt of around 34,000 now presents itself as a business location with many medium-sized enterprises. Münster and Steinfurt are just 33 minutes apart by train.
