Steinfurt, 1 September, 2017: The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports two research stays at the Institute for Optical Technologies. Prof. Joaquin Tirano (Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá) will work on the electrochemical preparation and characterization of TiO2-nanotubes for photocatalytic applications, whereas Dr. Maxim Ivanov (Russian Academy of Sciences, Ural branch, Jekaterinburg) will try to deposit laser-generated nanopowders in dense layers by electrophoresis.
Both grantees will be hosted in the lab of Prof. Bredol where the necessary equipment is available.
