Natural and engineering science modules

The Master's program in Industrial Engineering and Management contains four engineering specializations. Each of these four specializations offers its own specialization.

chemical engineering

If you are interested in chemical engineering, you can specialize even further in the engineering modules. Almost all modules are offered in English for the purpose of internationalization.

electrical engineering

Electrical engineering offers several specializations. Here you are spoilt for choice between:
  • automation technology/communications engineering
Are you interested in Wide Area Networks or high frequency technology? Then you should choose Automation technology/communications technology . Informatics.
If semiconductor technology or photovoltaic systems is the right thing for you, then you should look more often at the subjects from the area Selected Chapters of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
If you find everything interesting, that's no problem: You can choose the modules freely according to your interests. The division into focal points only serves as a better orientation for you.

mechanical engineering

In the focus on mechanical engineering you have a wide range of options. Automotive engineering, plant design and robotics are only three of numerous modules you can choose from. This leaves plenty of room for your personal interests.

physical technologies

The subject Physical Technologies offers two specializations:

Applicant short guide: Enrolment process

If you meet all the requirements for admission to the Master's programme, you are guaranteed a place at the university. You will then receive a letter from the Service Office for Students with your admission, asking you to pay the semester fee. We will send you your student card and semester ticket as soon as all documents are complete and the payment of the semester fee has been booked. Now you are enrolled at Münster University of Applied Sciences and your studies can begin.
