After a welcome by Prof. Dr. hans-Christoph Mertins, the students received a comprehensive introduction to the Master's program in Materials Science and Engineering. Subsequently, Laurin Eckermann from the International Office of FH Münster presented our university and explained what studying in Germany looks like.

 

Prof. Dr. Thomas Jüstel, Dean of the Department of Chemical Engineering, also welcomed the group and presented the Chemical Engineering program. Following this, Prof. Mertins, along with Kirsten Elfering from the Institute of Business Administration and Engineering (ITB), led the group on a tour of the campus and various laboratories, providing the students with practical insights into the research and teaching at our university.

A shared lunch and a meeting with FH Münster students rounded off the official part of the visit. The day concluded successfully with the summer festival at the Steinfurt Technology Campus, where the Colombian students enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the lively atmosphere until late in the evening.
