Information on the proof of language skills

English knowledge at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages can be proven with:

Language tests

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) with a score of at least 72 points
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL,PBT) with a score of at least 543 points
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) with a result of 5.5
• Cambridge English First
• or equivalent certificates

Certificate of graduation

• Business English (B2)
• Modules in English (confirmation from the university)
• primary language of instruction English
• Semester abroad in an English-speaking country or primary language of instruction English
• or comparable proof

In this English-language degree program, German language proficiency at the A1 level must be proven at the end of the third semester with:

• DSH - The German Language Test Certificate for University Admission for Foreign Study Applicants (DSH-1).
• telc German A1
• TESTDAF Test - German as a Foreign Language for Foreign Study Applicants (TestDaF)
• GOETHE-CERTIFICATE - Passed Goethe-Certificate A1
• or comparable proof
