The 2D-Workshop offers the students equipment at the highest level. It displays the complete workflow from in- to output to the plain processing. Here you can work on all the digital data of your designed projects (e.g. posters and brochures), print, plot and complete for presentation by cutting, binding or tacking.
Paper lasers, flatbed scanners, laser printers, ink-jet and film plotter as well as laser cutters and engravers allow for excellent results. On the Mac OS computers the common pixel, vector and layout programs plus a comprehensive pro font package.
The students work on and print their documents independently. They check the data on usability and completeness and make output files for the needed printing process. They create configuration data for the print and the processing and control the correct adoption into the workflow. They use different output systems - and still are supervised and advised concerning the software, the devices, the print settings or the papers.
