DEUTSCH

All the physical materials are processed in the 3D-Workshop. The students realize their two-dimensional designs into the third dimension true to scale - in model making by polystyrene, acryl glass or rubber; sculptural works are designed by clay or gypsum.

In the wood sector the students work mainly on MDF boards or real wood by lathes, grinding and drilling machines. Furthermore, there is the possibility to reshape by thermoforming machines. Subsequently, the material, from synthetic to metal, can be painted or sprayed in the paint shop.

In the 3D-Workshop the students manufacture their projects in consultation, for example their own exhibition systems (frames, platforms) and product prototypes with different materials. Thereby, they receive assistance choosing and procuring materials as well as during the processing procedure.
