Contemporary education with a touch of tradition
The Faculty of Design can look back on a long, sound tradition - designers have been educated in Münster since 1878. The content of the apprenticeship in arts and crafts/handcrafts taught at the "Design, Painting and Modelling School", however, has very little to do with the current demands placed on professional designers today.
We offer contemporary, forward-looking education in which students gain the methodological, technical and artistic skills that enable them to play a part in solving social problems as independent, critical and responsible designer figures.
