The "studi-trainer"
The transition from school to university is a major step in your life as a prospective student. To make this transition easier, Münster University of Applied Sciences offers a programme called the StudiTrainer, which is tailored especially to the needs of new students at the Steinfurt Campus. The StudiTrainer programme encompasses several elements. First, prospective students receive mentoring from experienced, more advanced student mentors. Second, an accompanying book provides all kinds of information about your degree programme and starting out at university. Third, you can attend workshops in which topics from the accompanying book, such as starting out at university, time management, motivation, learning strategies and exam preparation, are addressed under the guidance of your mentors. The StudiTrainer programme will prepare you for life at Münster University of Applied Sciences, enabling you to overcome all of the obstacles that first-year students face.

Students wishing to take the "Technical English" compulsory elective module must first take the C-test. For more information about the C-test, refer to the Virtual Bulletin Board on the department website.
