How do I find my way around the campus?
The buildings on campus are all marked with letters. Therefore, all rooms have the letter of the building in which they are located at the top of the description.
In order to find your way at the beginning, you should follow the following campus map, which can be viewed online or in the StudiTrainer.
Where are there parking spaces?
Parking is available at the entrance to Stegerwaldstraße and the side street Flögemannsesch. After the street makes a left bend, where also two new buildings on the left side are created, there is another parking lot.
Is there a dormitory in Burgsteinfurt?
Yes, right on campus Stegerwaldstraße. The Studierendenwerk Münster is responsible for this.
How do I get a place in the dorm?
Via an enquiry to the Studierendenwerk (see above).
How far in advance do I have to register for the dorm?
The waiting time for a furnished single room is currently 2-6 months, and for a
2-room apartment even longer. Current information also on the website of the Studierendenwerk.
What other accommodation is available in Steinfurt?
In Steinfurt there are lots of flat-sharing communities that can be found on the Internet or on the notice board at the FH.
Furthermore there is the possibility to rent an apartment opposite the campus under the keyword "Wohnen am Campus Steinfurt".
I hear there's a gym for training?
Yes, this is located directly in the dormitory. The usage costs 50€ per semester. Opening hours can be seen directly there. Further information can be found on the website of the Hochschulsport Münster. The HSP offers a lot of cheap sport offers, it is definitely worth to inform yourself there.
Now I live in Steinfurt, what can I do here?
There is a volleyball court and a gym right next to the hostel. In addition, the Turnerbund Steinfurt also offers numerous opportunities for sporting activities.

For a cosy drink in the evening there are some bars in the city centre (Eppings, Litfass, Café Niveau) where you can meet friends and play football.
To cool off on warm days it is advisable to drive to one of the nearby lakes. Very close to the Kieferngrundsee and a little further away the Haddorfer See, Torfmoorsee and some more.
Transport Accessibility
By car there is a B54 between Münster and Steinfurt.
With the train RB64 you can take the hourly connection between Münster and Enschede, sometimes even every half hour (then between Münster and Steinfurt or Gronau).
You can also take the R73 bus between Münster and Steinfurt. There are further bus connections to Rheine, Coesfeld or Emsdetten.
