When and how is the semester fee paid?
The semester fee is to be paid before the beginning of the next semester.
End of December, beginning of January for the summer semester and beginning of July for the winter semester. They will be paid by bank transfer. A corresponding bank transfer form will be sent by e-mail with the request for payment.
How high are these?
Due to the new NRW-Ticket and the social and student body contributions, the sum currently amounts to approx. 270 euros. A detailed list is enclosed with every request for payment.
Where can I get information about BAföG?
The Studierendenwerk is responsible for this. Since experience has shown that it takes a little longer, especially the first time, you should take care of the application in good time. If you start your studies in the winter semester (October), you should start preparing your application in June/July. The Studentenwerk Münster is located in the Bismarckallee in Münster directly by the Aasee. Since Neustem there is also a Bafög counselling at the FH in the building complex B on the first floor left of the lecture hall B 203. You can also inform yourself at the ASTA in the social counselling (this is offered at every FH location).
