Science conference waste and resource management on March 27th and 28th.

The newest waste and resource management developments were presented to the professional public at the annual science conference. The platform offers a unique opportunity for young researchers to share and discuss their dissertations with business experts. The conference included diverse contributions from the area of waste and resource management.

Interdisciplinary Workshop: New approaches for sustainability

The first interdisciplinary workshop took place from 5th to 7th November 2013. The RessourcenKolleg.NRW scientist used the opportunity to discuss various aspects of an, in terms of resource efficiency, optimized waste utilization.

Waste Seperation for experts

The researchers of the LASU, an institute from the University of Applied Sciene Münster, managed by Prof. Sabine Flamme, got a new sorting machine in July 2013. One of the first users is Julia Geiping, who researches metal revovery from Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Official RessourcenKolleg.NRW start

The Ministry of science of the state NRW sponsors the cooperation between the University of Applied Science Münster and the RWTH Aachen University since January 2013. They will receive funding from the Ministry of science for a joint Center for Doctoral Studies in the next couple of years. This is the result of an successful participation in an competition from the promotion initative "NRW.Forschungskooperationen" on both ends.
