Short bio

Choi Wai Maggie Chak is a Research Associate and Lecturer at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre. She works on local, regional, and international projects concerning community engagement, co-creation, health promotion and innovation, such as Change Lab Münster, münster.land.leben, and Innovating Food for Seniors projects. She also teaches Research Seminars and supervises students' theses and consultation projects. Maggie holds a BSc. in Public Health at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specialising in Health Promotion and Healthcare Management and an MSc. in Epidemiology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany. Since 2018, she has pursued her PhD in cooperation with the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (University of Twente) and the Münster School of Business (FH Münster University of Applied Sciences).

Being deeply influenced by her multidisciplinary training and multisectoral working experience in the public and private sectors, Maggie aspires to bridge the research-practice silos in public health by fostering collaboration between diverse stakeholders. Accordingly, her doctoral research investigates how to improve the performance of Community-Academic Health Partnerships in German-speaking areas. Her works have been presented at the 80th, 81st, and 82nd Annual Meetings of the Academy of Management and are published in international, peer-reviewed journals.
