Short bio

Iulia Stroila is a Research Associate and Lecturer at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre. She works on regional and international projects concerning entrepreneurship and community engagement in rural areas, inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems, and female entrepreneurship. Iulia is currently the project manager of RestART Europe and the lead researcher of WeRin. In her past attributions, she was the project manager of ARDENT. Iulia holds a BSc in Business Administration at The Babes-Bolyai University, Romania, and a MA in International Marketing and Sales at the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Since 2020, Iulia has pursued her PhD at the Entrepreneurship Commercialisation and Innovation Centre of The University of Adelaide, Australia, a collaborative PhD programme with the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences. In her research, she focuses on the well-being of entrepreneurial ecosystems-the ability of ecosystems to support the quality, diversity, resilience, and opportunity and choice provision for entrepreneurship. Accordingly, she investigates how ecosystems worldwide can focus more on inclusive, sustainable, and high-growth forms of entrepreneurship.
