Social EU Award for the best editorial plan for WeRin

The team of project WeRin (Women Entrepreneurs in Regional Inclusive Entrepreneurial Ecosystems) led by Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre has won the Social EU Award.

Social EU is another Erasmus+ project co-funded by the EU. It aims to encourage projects to make the best use of social media to reach their respective target groups.

Best paper award for Hacer Tercanli

Hacer Tercanli and her co-author Dr. Ben Jongbloed received the 2021 JoLii Conference Best Paper Award for their work on the importance and benefits of Living Labs for the higher education institutions.

S2Bs' nudging initiative awarded in Stiferverband's top 100 for education, science and innovation

S2BMRC nudging initiative was awarded as one of Germany`s best "100 ideas for education, science and innovation" by the Stifterverband. Nudging for innovation: How we are fuelling the Third Mission with gentle "nudging" (in German: Nudging for innovation: Wie wir mit sanften "Stupsern"die Dritte Mission befeuern) was selected as one of 100 funding projects from the more than 500 applications.

Best Project in Higher Education from the Bulgarian National Agency for eLead Speed

The eLead Speed, a project in which the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre is consortium partner, was awarded the best Erasmus+ project in higher education from the Bulgarian National Agency for Erasmus+ projects. Our team members Habtamu Garomssa and André Perusso received the award in Milan, Italy.

Best Presentation Award for Eva Sormani

Eva Sormani, MSc., was awarded the "Best Presentation Award" out of >60 paper presentations for her presentation on "The Potential of Nudging for Societal Benefits from Research" at the International Conference on Technology & Innovation in Society and Science-to-Business Marketing Conference in Padang, Indonesia.



Award for highly cited research in Journal of Engineering and Technology Management

The Science-to-Business Research Marketing Center in the name of Prof. Dr. Thomas Baaken has, once again, proven its academic orientation and quality of work. Their paper is one of the 5 most highly cited papers published in Journal of Engineering and Technology Management. The paper with the title The Evolution of University-Industry Linkages - A Framework, published in 2013 is one of the most highly cited papers during 2014, 2015 and up until June 2016. The paper was created in a cooperation project of S2BMRC and The University of Adelaide, Australia. The authors express their gratitude for the support of this research by the Go8 Australia-Germany Joint Research Co-operation Scheme and the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD).

Best PhD Performance Award for Sue Rossano

Sue Rossano was awarded the "Best PhD Performance Award" for her presentation on "Intrapreneurship within academic research institutions. Understanding barriers and drivers: The case of México in a transnational perspective" at the PhD workshop of the 2014 University-Industry Interaction Conference in Barcelona.

Take it up - Best pitching award

During the TII Innovation Tool Fair held in Brussels, Belgium, on November 19, 2010, Thorsten Kliewe won the Take it up - Best pitching award for his presentation on TechAdvance™, a technology assessment and development tool developed at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre and commercialised by its spin-off apprimo. Take it up is the promotion pillar of the Europe INNOVA initiative, funded by European Commission, DG Enterprise

Austauschprozesse award

In 2007, Münster University of Applied Sciences (MUAS) was awarded as one of the Top 5 Universities in Germany applying the best strategies of university-business knowledge exchange and technology transfer by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the business community's innovation agency for the German science system. MUAS were recognised for generating the highest amount of 'third-party' funding (industry contribution) from all universities of applied sciences in Germany. Professor Thomas Baaken in his previous role of Vice Rector and the work of the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre were integral to the university achieving this success.
