Join us in shaping a sustainable future!

At Blueprint for Impact, we believe sustainability is not just a goal - It is an amazing opportunity to create lasting change. Across our university and beyond, inspiring initiatives are emerging that tackle various aspects of sustainability. However, to truly make an impact, these efforts must align with the complex systems they aim to address. That's where we come in.

Our mission is to foster collaboration, bridging gaps between research, teaching, and sustainability projects. By developing an interdisciplinary teaching framework and an interactive map of sustainability initiatives, we aim to create stronger connections, spark innovative solutions, and ensure that sustainability thrives in the long run. Together, we can turn ambition into action. Join us in this transformative journey toward a sustainable future!

The FH Münster University of Applied Sciences has a complex ecosystem of sustainability initiatives that matches the teaching format of the Social Entrepreneurship School (SES), an existing good practice with further potential for expansion. However, this is still partly highly fragmented, although there is considerable potential for synergies. Conversations with employees of the SUNrise Lab, developers of the sustainability master's degree program, organizers of the sustainability network and key university stakeholders illustrate considerable potential for cooperation.

There are also obstacles in the integration of teaching formats both internally at the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences and also in collaboration with other universities. Challenges arise here due to the content requirements of the teaching formats, the creditability of the events, and the timing, even though the general vision is the same.

Our Goals

  1. Mapping the complex ecosystem of sustainable initiatives
    - Understanding the complex ecosystem around sustainability
    - Design and build an "ecosystem map" with a focus on synergy potential
    - Make this available for further use as a co-creation platform
  2. Blueprint for easier integration of teaching formats and creditability in the social entrepreneurship school
    - Research into the requirements of different teaching formats
    - Translation into a blueprint that enables the integration of various events across departments and universities
  3. Implementation in the lighthouse project of the "Social Entrepreneurship School"
    - The SES as a starting, research and implementation context
    - Direct implementation of the concepts for the continuous expansion of the school
