In January, Dr Kerstin Kurzhals and Judith Helmer (S2BMRC) hosted an online workshop on "Interactive Teaching with Miro - Use Cases and Key Learnings from practice". This workshop was organised as a continuation and deepening of a Wandelwerk Workshop on "Collaborating online with digital whiteboards" one week earlier. Targeting educators at the Münster University of Applied Sciences, the workshop built on and extended the basic functionalities of Miro presented in the first workshop by showing use cases from teaching practice. Having extensively used Miro in curricular development and implementation of the courses "SME Innovation" and "Creativity & Innovation", the two organisers have presented their 2 best practices and summarised 10 key learnings to share them with the wider audience.

After the basic functionalities of Miro have been presented by Anna Amadi (Wandelwerk) one week earlier, this workshop focussed on presenting concrete use cases in the application Miro. For this purpose, Dr Kerstin Kurzhals and Judith Helmer have been invited from S2BMRC of the Münster School of Business.

Both cases, developed at the S2BMRC, focus on creative and interactive work in small groups in a digital environment. Showing the use case of the "Cross Innovation Game" developed by the Zukunftsinstitut Workshop, which was transferred to Miro, Ms. Kurzhals has given insights from her course "SME Innovation" by showing one examples on how an originally analogue lecture has been transformed into a playful, digital format by applying gamification elements . Judith Helmer presented a lecture format that is digital from the ground up, including a self-developed design thinking board game in Miro as well as a holistically digital, playful, project-oriented, and interactive lecture concept called "Creativity & Innovation".

The insights of both use cases have been summarised, sharing the experiences about digital teaching formats, especially using Miro, and presenting them in 10 key learnings (See picture above).
