24-25 November 2021 | online

On the 24th and 25th of November a Virtual Ethical Entrepreneurship Teachers' Training took place. The training is an alternative for the 2-day extensive training that was planned in Cyprus for a total of 18 teachers from 6 countries. The shorter online training attracted even more participants due to the accessible format. Three trainers from the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences took part: Eva Sormani from the S2BMRC, and two visiting scholars from Uganda Diana Ssekiboobo & Zaina Nakabuye.

The teachers' training is part of the Erasmus+ project Value & Future. The University of Nicosia was the designated project partner to lead the successful execution of the training. A tight schedule was set up to keep the engagment levels high during the online training.

During the training the first three outputs of the Value and Future project received attention and a general introduction was provided. The participants were introduced to the case studies collected on ethical entrepreneurship, which by now are more than 20. Furthermore, six theoretical modules are ready to be implemented by any teacher. Eva Sormani presented the quick scan manual, which is a 20-page document on how students can be guided in the interviewing of entrepreneurs on ethical dilemmas. The outputs and how they are connected can be found in a trainer's guide. All presentations and documents will be made available to the participants so that they can use it in their teaching and hopefully provide useful feedback to the project partners for further optimization.

We can conclude that the two days of fruitful online get-togethers have supported teachers in the integration of ethical entrepreneurship in the regional curriculums. Participants in the training engaged in the discussions and asked question to the presenters.

The Value and Future project invites all participants and other interested teachers, students and entrepreneurs to follow updates on our LinkedIn page and website. Soon we will announce more events open to those interested in ethical entrepreneurship and the teaching of ethical entrepreneurship.
