On Monday, 21.11.2022, the "MarketingFrauen" from the Marketing Club Münster-Osnabrück were guests at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Center (S2BMRC).

The sold-out evening at the beginning the week was dedicated to the topic of gender-specific communication.

We would like to thank our speaker Dr. Marie-Theres Ebmeier for her instructive and interactive lecture: The deputy presiding judge at the Higher Regional Court of Hamm herself works in a male-dominated environment and knows the importance of successful communication for success in one's professional career. She brought her practical experience into the theoretical context of the topics "Gender Awareness" and "Mixed Leadership". The experienced speaker has enjoyed extensive coaching training with the well-known author and consultant Dr. Peter Modler and accordingly focused on his theory of vertical and horizontal communication systems.

With the help of entertaining role plays and impressive videos with dialogue sequences from politics, the participants were able to experience first-hand the influences and relevance of behavioural strategies. However, it was not only the problems caused by different social imprints that were highlighted. In a humorous way, the audience developed solutions based on their own experiences in everyday professional life to better assert themselves in the future - and still remain true to their authentic selves.

Afterwards, Acting-Prof. Dr. Sue Rossano-Rivero presented the focus of the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Center - Female Entrepreneurship and Leadership - as well as some Europe-wide research projects to those present in a short lecture. Inspired by these numerous proofs of the importance and potential of a diverse business culture with a focus on gender equality, the MarketingFrauen ended the evening with a cosy exchange in the rooms of Science-to-Business Marketing Research Center.
