The Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre (S2BMRC) team member Nelli Scharapow hosted an ET Talk in connection to the Value and Future Project on behalf of the German Team.
To empower young people towards ethical entrepreneurship and leadership, the project team brings in role models to inspire students. For Germany, the entrepreneur Marie Ueckeroth with her company malunt joined the session as a young female freshly entrepreneur.
In the beginning, a little bit of a Christmas vibe was spread with some Christmas music, all 38 participants, including the European partners with their students, could join, and a little ice-breaker represented how international the group was. Afterward, Marie talked about her personal story and shared her experience and a lot of tips and advices with the students. The participants were really interested in her story and company and asked questions; hence, a vivid discussion took place.
The discussion also turned around for the online exchange between the students of the different European countries, as our Dutch partner from Friesland college gave a very interesting ethical question into the round, and Marie also asked the students behavioral questions. The whole group was divided into breakout rooms to intensify the discussion in smaller groups.
In the end, the groups shared their discussion points, and the session was finalised after an exciting and inspiring 1,5 hours.
A big thank you to everyone. We are looking forward to the upcoming events.
