A group of 20 Ethiopian presidents of Universities of Applied Sciences visited FH Münster University of Applied Sciences as part of the HELM Programme (Higher Education Leadership and Management). The Study Tour was coordinated by CHE Centre of Higher Education, Osnabrück and Hochschule Osnabrück. The "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit" (GIZ) initiated the programme to the Ethiopian Ministry of Education through its Sustainable Training and Education Programme (STEPIII).

Firstly the members of the delegation showed high interest in the organisation, construction of the Knowledge Transfer approach of FH Münster University of Applied Sciences. Carsten Schröder, Vice-President for Cooperation, Innovation and Marketing of FH Münster and CEO of the TransferAgency GmbH presented strategies and tools.

Secondly Sen.-Professor Thomas Baaken delivered a presentation on initial statements and the business models of the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre (S2BMRC) as well as its history, vision and future development. The presidents highly recognised the Centre's uniqueness in Europe. They commented on its achievements and its leadership in the field of Knowledge Transfer, University Business Cooperation and its Science-to-Society approach. 

The third presentation dealt with "Female Entrepreneurship" provided by Iulia Stroila, member of the Management Team of S2BMRC. Iulia Stroila has written her PhD Thesis on Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Well-Being and is leading several projects on the topic and on Female Entrepreneurship.

Women Entrepreneurs in STEM, WeRIN Women Entrepreneurs in Regional Inclusive Ecosystems, RestART Europe, ARDENT entrepreneurship education (all EU-funded projects) and WE.Lead-Women Entrepreneurs empowered to lead (funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research). The delegation was most impressed by the result of the Centre's research findings, project approaches and practical transfer to young female students and academics.

The delegation showed high interest in building a relationship with S2BMRC to embark Science-Marketing, Science-to-Society and Women Entrepreneurship.
