The Erasmus+ Forum for Partnerships and Cooperation Projects took place in Bonn on 22nd and 23rd May 2023. The event aimed to explore the opportunities and benefits of Erasmus+ projects for researchers and their universities.
The forum began with a welcome speech by Dr. Stephan Geifes, Director of the National Agency for EU Higher Education Cooperation at the DAAD, and presentations on different funding lines from DAAD. Our colleague, Choiwai Maggie Chak, presented her future-oriented project "ReGenerate Strategies in Higher Education Institutes" (REGENU) at one of the project market sessions. Attendees exchanged their practices and experiences during the coffee breaks and participated in a panel discussion moderated by Beate Körner, discussing the benefits of engaging in Erasmus+ projects.
The second day featured lessons learned, tips for successful proposals, and thematic workshops on cooperation partnerships, consortium building/management, and university support and funding.The Erasmus+ Forum provided researchers and universities from diverse backgrounds with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and practical guidance and served as a platform to help higher education workers capitalize on the benefits and opportunities available through international cooperation projects.
