An international group of dedicated Bachelor and Master Marketing students from FH Münster, led by Dominik Lappenküper from the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre, has successfully completed their semester-long project on artificial intelligence (AI) in education. The project, which aimed to create a comprehensive website providing valuable insights into AI's role in education, reached its culmination with the unveiling of the students' website to an audience of lecturers as well as Jutta Rach in her role as study dean for the Münster School of Business.

Throughout the project, the students embarked on an extensive research journey, incorporating a literature review, a survey targeting fellow students, and interviews with students and lecturers. Their objective was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape of AI in education, along with its potential benefits and challenges.

Armed with valuable insights from their research, the students collaborated closely to design and develop an informative website as an educational resource for lecturers and students alike. The website covers a wide range of topics, including the fundamentals of AI, its applications in education from the different perspectives of students and lecturers as well as ethical considerations. The content is presented in an engaging and user-friendly manner, making it accessible to individuals with varying levels of familiarity with the subject.

The presentation was met with great interest, as the lecturers recognized the importance of AI in shaping the future of education. Many expressed their appreciation for the students' dedication and thorough research efforts, commending them for their contribution to the field.

Following the presentation, Dominik Lappenküper emphasized the importance of disseminating the knowledge gathered. The supervisor will review the website's content to ensure accuracy and relevance before giving the green light for its wider dissemination. Once approved, the website will be shared with the university's faculty members, students, and potentially a broader audience, enabling them to explore and better understand the potential of AI in education.

As the project draws to a close, the students can take pride in their achievement. Their diligent research, combined with their passion for advancing education through AI, has culminated in a valuable resource that has the potential to inspire lecturers and empower students to embrace the possibilities of AI in education.
