30 August - 1 September 2023 | Paris
S2BMRC team member Elina Isakova visited the Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Research Summer School 2023 hosted by IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School, from August 30-September 1.
During this school she had the privilege of presenting the first paper of her PhD work a paper co-authored with Dr. Iulia Stroila (Research associate at S2BMRC) and Dr. Sue Rossano-Rivero (co-supervisor of her PhD journey together with Ingrid Wakkee and Bart Bossink from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), - delving into the fascinating world of entrepreneurial ecosystems research. Elina's PhD work is part of the WE.Lead project granted from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This unique opportunity allowed her to engage in thought-provoking discussions, connect with fellow scholars, and explore cutting-edge trends in the field of entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The Summer School is part of a global initiative that started with the Winter School organized by Utrecht and the Innodays conference hosted by Adalia in 2022, uniting over 100 scholars from across the globe to explore the intricacies of entrepreneurial ecosystems. The overwhelming success of these previous events led to the organization of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Research Summer School in the vibrant city of Paris. This year's focus was on understanding the nature, emergence, and dynamics of entrepreneurial ecosystems, with the aim of taking stock of the progress and charting the future course of research in this exciting domain.
It was a truly enriching experience and a great opportunity to contribute to the evolving conversation on entrepreneurial ecosystems!
