Pupils from the "Hansa-Berufskolleg Münster" visited our FH Münster. As part of the "XRegions" project, we were allowed to run through an accelerated design thinking process with the students, led by our PhD candidate Annika Wesbuer. With a lot of fun and joy, we worked in five teams, which developed an idea for sustainable tourism from 8.00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Together with TAFH "Transfer Agentur FH Münster" (Rolf Laakmann, Sarah Lassek, Thomas Rustige) and MSB "Münster School of Business" (Lena Barnard) we work as a Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre on the project "XRegions", where we contribute our expertise in the field of "Design Thinking". After two successful Design Thinking workshops in Münster and Minnesota (USA) with the university leadership, lecturers and scientific associates, led by Annika Wesbuer, we now had a workshop for 16-25 year-olds. The new age group was a great experience for everyone involved and we are pleased that the bridge has now been built to the "Hansa-Berufskolleg Münster" and that future students can find their way to the FH Münster.
All in all, the workshop went very smoothly and the students got a sense of the FH rooms, the contents taught, the internationalisation of the FH Münster and the lecturers. We look forward to seeing familiar faces in the lecture halls in the future.
