We are excited to share insights from the recent Women's Empowerment Convention, a ground breaking event held on November 22, 2023, at the Atlantic Hotel in Münster. Co-organizing this significant gathering was a testament to our dedication to advancing the representation of women in entrepreneurship, the start-up scene, leadership, and innovation.
Central to the convention was our representation of the WE.Lead project, "Women Entrepreneurs empowered to lead." Our mission to bridge science, business, and society took centre stage, emphasizing the contemporary relevance and critical importance of our project and accompanying research.
From the impactful keynote by Tijen Onaran to a collaborative workshop with Nelli Scharapow and Nina Pry from Belonio, we showcased the practical implications of our work. The workshop, focusing on "New Work" as a people's game, presented a best practice of Belonio and engaged in discussions about future work skills, complementing our insights with scientific findings. This underscored the relevance of our work in shaping the future landscape of work and entrepreneurship.
These collaborations play a crucial role in building bridges between academia and industry, ensuring that our research translates into real-world applications. The convention served as a platform for meaningful conversations, fostering connections that will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing empowerment of women in the professional sphere.
