In a bittersweet moment for the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre, we bid adieu to our esteemed Acting Manager, Dr. Sue Rossano-Rivero, as she embarks on an exciting new chapter in her illustrious career. Dr. Rossano-Rivero has accepted the position as a full Professor at Hochschule Niederrhein, commencing March 1, 2024.
With a wealth of expertise in entrepreneurship, social and rural entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurship, and leadership, Dr. Rossano-Rivero has been instrumental in steering our team towards success during her two-year tenure. Her influence extends to the realms of the role of higher education in entrepreneurship, University-Business Cooperation for entrepreneurial education, and entrepreneurial ecosystems and networks.
Originally hailing from Mexico, Dr. Rossano-Rivero, a former professional tennis player, has not only brought a global perspective to our team but has also embraced life in Germany with her family. Her dedication to entrepreneurship is evident in her research, which uniquely explores the networking aspects of entrepreneurship while consistently emphasizing the importance of social value creation alongside economic value.
Under her guidance, our Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre has achieved numerous milestones, successfully propelling itself to the forefront of innovative research and collaborative endeavors. Dr. Rossano-Rivero's passion for creating value through the synergy of science, business, and society has left an indelible mark on our team.
As we express our gratitude for the invaluable leadership and accomplishments she brought to our team, we wish Dr. Sue Rossano-Rivero continued success in her academic journey.
