The S2BMRC welcomes Hacer Tercanli, MA from Turkey as a new Team Member.

Hacer was employed by UIIN (University Industry Innovation Network) in Amsterdam since 2016

Her PhD Thesis deals with "Understanding HEIs in Urban Sustainable Development: Modes, Drivers and Challenges", placed in a cooperative PhD-programme of FH Münster and University of Twente, NL.

Hacer will join the Science-to-Society Research Line https://en.fh-muenster.de/science-marketing/science-to-society.php?p=4, led by Jun.-Professor Kerstin Kurzhals: "We are very much looking forward to create synergies between the project Münster.Land.Leben and Hacer's PhD".

Hacer herself is describing her impressions and expectations as: "Among others, what especially encouraged me to reach out to the Center is their unique stand in the establishment of a network, and an ecosystem of entrepreneurial universities in which students, businesses, and the academics are equally integrated in the knowledge creation process. One quick example of this is the Münster University of applied Sciences student projects supervised by the team of experts, with final products being marketing strategies developed for existing German companies. As for my expectations, I believe having the opportunity to explore and get involved in the activities of the Science-Business Center will both consolidate the knowledge I have earned through my employment at UIIN in Amsterdam, the Erasmus Mundus Master's program I studied (Research and Innovation in Higher Education - MARIHE) and will allow me to contribute to the Center's diverse range of national and international projects on the hot topics of innovation, business & university collaboration, and entrepreneurship."

Hacer completed her master thesis on "Key success factors in International HEI's Partnership Sustainability" as part of her Erasmus Mundus Joint Master degree at HS Osnabrück as well as Danube University Krems, AUT.

Due to her excellent profile, matching the S2BMRC interest and objectives, the entire team is looking forward to working with Hacer.
