Balzhan Orazbayeva, S2BMRC team member and the co-creator of The Future of Universities Thoughtbook and The Future of Universities Thoughtbook | Australian Edition, was invited to hold a presentation on the Future of Universities at the seventh "Impact of Science" AESIS conference at the Allianz Forum, Berlin, Germany.
To inspire their thinking, conference participants were briefed on the six primary roles of the future university, which have been identified in the Future of Universities Thoughtbook (www.futureuniversities.com). These roles are set to shape the success of universities to evolve and prosper in the face of intense pressure and competition.
The AESIS Network shares experiences, ideas and best practices regarding demonstrating and stimulating the societal impact of science on an ongoing basis. The AESIS Network organises this annual conference to bring together diverse international experts such as R&D evaluators, university managers, research councils, policy makers, funders, and other stakeholders of impact.
