In a significant step towards promoting a sustainable and regenerative future, the aim of the ERASMUS+ Project REGEN-U is to clarify the role that higher education institutions can play in helping society transition to a regenerative green economy, while equipping change-makers with the necessary skills and fostering globally minded, locally impactful regenerative business solutions.
One of the main goals of this project is to develop an innovative challenge program focused on creating solutions and entrepreneurial projects for regenerative economies. Held in recent weeks as part of the Social Entrepreneurship School at FH Münster, this program brought together students from various disciplines.
Through the interdisciplinary collaboration at the Social Entrepreneurship School at FH Münster, students engaged in discussions about the importance of a sustainable future. In dynamic sessions and workshops, they explored how social entrepreneurship can drive transformative change.
Using methods like Design Thinking and the creation of a Social Business Canvas, participants were empowered to develop innovative ideas and successfully pitch them. This process not only encouraged creativity and business thinking but also promoted a mindset of sustainability and regeneration among the students.
The culmination of these efforts has led to a wealth of innovative solutions ready to shape a sustainable future, showcasing the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and the potential for higher education institutions to lead the way in creating a regenerative green economy.
