The team of Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre with 4 paper presentations substantially contributed to the distinguished "High Technology Small Firms" Conference in the University of Twente, in The Netherlands.

The conference is yearly organised by a consortium of Universities as part of a collaboration between Vrije Universiteit (VU Amsterdam), University of Twente, University of Groningen and University of Liverpool, and was hosted this year by the two units, NIKOS and NovelT, of the University of Twente in Enschede

The conference covers topics like Science-Based Firms, Ecosystems, University-Business Cooperation, AI, Entrepreneurship. The four S2BMRC contributions have been:

  • "Linking Corporate Venturing and Effectuation in established Organisations" - by Carina Alfert, Bart Bossink, Thomas Baaken, Thorsten Kliewe.
  • "The role of networking of academics in University-Business Cooperation within the Context of Education" - by Sue Rossano-Rivero, Thomas Baaken, Peter van der Sijde, Todd Davey.
  • "Nudging in the Context of Fostering Student Entrepreneurship as part of the Third Mission of Higher Education Institutions" - by Eva Sormani, Marieke Baaken, Thomas Baaken, Iulia Stroila.
  • "Business Model Innovation in Disruption - understanding the Nucleus of the Phenomenon" - by Alexander Lennart Schmidt, Johanna Kassing, Christian Junker.
