Dr. Haluk Yörür successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Market Oriented Product Platforms Structuring the Front-End of Flexible Platform Portfolio Development" at TU Dresden, Faculty of Business and Economics.

The dissertation contributes to the area of flexible product platform development. Platform development projects evolve in a dynamic market environment. Theoretical contributions and managerial implications have been substantial.

Supervisors and affiliations: Supervisors had been Dr. Peter Harland (Head of Innovation Management & IP @ Corporate Center Strategy, Jenoptik AG; prior IHI Internationales Hochschulinstitut, Zittau) and Professor Dr. Thomas Baaken (S2BMRC). Prof. Baaken holds a position as an external associate professor (Priv.-Doz.) at IHI Internationales Hochschulkinstitut in Zittau, an academic department of TU Dresden, since 2010.

Dr. Yörür serves as Senior Project Manager Mobility Solutions at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart.
