What is the Deutschlandstipendium?

The Deutschlandstipendium is awarded to promote talented and committed students at state and state-recognised higher education institutions in Germany. Scholarships are allocated to students who not only have good grades, but who also demonstrate social commitment and special personal achievements - such as successfully overcoming obstacles in their educational biography.

Application phase 2022

The application phase for the 2022/2023 funding year will take place inSeptember and/or October 2022.. The exact dates will be published here in summer.

During this time, you can apply online via the dstip application server for a Deutschlandstipendium. All information, links and documents can be found here in time.

For the merit scholarships, students can apply from the 2nd Bachelor semester or from the 1st Master semester. For the priority scholarships (funding focus: students with children or dependents in need of care, non-EU foreigners, and students with physical or mental disabilities), an application is also possible in the 1st Bachelor semester.

DeutschlandstipendiumPlus

Starting from the 2017/2018 funding year, Münster University of Applied Sciences is initiating a model project called the DeutschlandstipendiumPlus. Within this programme, 10 to 15 companies from the region will finance an exclusive circle of highly qualified students for two years. In this context, scholarship holders will visit each company once within the duration of the project. As a scholarship holder, you will become closely acquainted with leading companies in the region, establish contacts to the management and HR managers, and participate in an attractive framework programme. You will work in an interdisciplinary manner with 20 to 30 scholarship holders from other schools and departments, and will also receive a monthly scholarship of €300.

The application procedure for the DeutschlandstipendiumPlus takes place parallel to the procedure for the regular Deutschlandstipendium, but only again in 2021.
