Students who find themselves in financial emergency situations can apply for a hardship scholarship (€ 500 per semester) at any time. Eligible students are Bachelor students from the 2nd Bachelor semester and Master students from the 1st Master semester. Funding for students who are up to 2 semesters over the standard period of study is possible.
Applications can be made through the AStA's Social Counseling Office. Ms. Hamann, the social advisor of the AStA, first checks the financial situation in the context of a consultation and, if the prerequisites are met, submits an application for funding.
