Online or paper application?

With a few exceptions, all applicants can apply online for degree programmes at Münster University of Applied Sciences.

Exceptions:

  • Applicants who want to change university or course of study: Change to a higher semester
  • Cross-registered students and guest auditors who only wish to attend individual courses
  • international language course applicants for German as a foreign language

Applying for a place in a higher semester

Those who have already studied at another university or who would like to change degree programmes at Münster University of Applied Sciences may be able to be transferred to a higher semester.

 


Applying to be a cross-registered or occasional student

Students from other universities can be admitted as cross-registered students. Anyone can become an occasional student.

 


Applicants from countries of the European Economic Area (EEA)

International prospective students who come from an EU Member State, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein and who do not have a German qualification for admission to higher education are on a par with German applicants. The only exception is that they are required to prove their German language proficiency.
