Training and studies

A dual study program consists of a dual-track education: studies at the university and practical units within a company. Students gain experience in the operation, in which they undergo training or an internship, and attend lectures and seminars at the university.

1. Blog model

With this model, the vocational apprenticeship takes place in the first year (1st and 2nd semesters). They start studying in the third year. During semester, students attend seminars and lectures along with full-time students. During the semester break, they continue their vocational training or work at the company after completing the apprenticeship.

This model is offered on the following degree programmes:

  • With this variant, students spend four working days in the enterprise. One working day and Saturdays are set aside for studies.

3. Self-study including learning letters:

Students are either every 14 days for one day at the university (industrial engineering) or to the fifth term six attendance days per term at the university and from the 6th term in part-time studies (care). Other curricula are developed through self-study based on learning letters.
