Additional entrance requirements | First professional degree: A prerequisite for entry to the programme or for the continuation of studies is an undergraduate degree in a technical, engineering or mainly engineering subject from the area of Energy, Building and Environmental Engineering or related areas with an overall grade of ‘good’ (2.5) or better. In exceptional cases, the qualified degree may also be demonstrated by outstanding qualifying achievements in professional activities after completing an undergraduate degree. The Examination Committee will decide whether or not you qualify for the programme.
Language requirements: Applicants who did not acquire their study qualification at a German-speaking institution must demonstrate that they have knowledge of German at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), for example by proving that they have passed the TestDaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache) with an average score of ‘4’, or must furnish equivalent proof. Occupation: You must demonstrate that you have at least 12 weeks’ practical experience. A relevant practical stage of the same duration completed during your undergraduate degree will be recognised if it took place in the second half of the degree programme. The time spent preparing for a practice-related final thesis may also count towards this time. The practical stage must be completed before starting the programme, and must be verified upon enrolment. |
